Citi Named Best Investment Bank in Five Countries in Latin America

Miami, Fla. – Citi was recognized as the Best Investment Bank in five countries in Latin America by Global Finance magazine in the 22nd edition of the World's Best Investment Banks 2021 awards. Citi received the recognition in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, and Peru.

The awards honor the best global investment banks and their performance between the fourth quarter of 2019 and the third quarter of 2020. Global Finance editors, with input from industry experts, used a series of criteria to rate and select the winners, including bank entries, market share, number and size of deals, service and advice, structuring capacity, distribution network, efforts to address market conditions, and innovation.

Earlier this year, Citi Latin America was named Investment Bank of the Year by LatinFinance magazine for its prominent role in outstanding transactions in the region.
