Citi Named Custodian of the Year in Latin America

New York – Citi was named Custodian of the Year in Latin America by Custody Risk Magazine for the third year in a row. The 2018 Custody Risk Awards, produced in association with Risk.net, are judged by an expert panel of judges and celebrate outstanding achievement in custody, fund administration, securities services and technology.

Citi's proprietary network in over 60 markets is the largest in the industry, and the firm has been a leading provider of custody services in Latin America for over two decades. In Mexico, Citibanamex enhanced its direct linkage to the depository to provide faster trade execution, eliminate manual intervention in the settlement process and increase volume capacity.
