Today, we are proud to announce that Citi received the highest score of 100 and the distinction of being seen as a "Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality" on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation's premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. Citi has earned this designation since 2004.

The 2019 CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, support for LGBTQ inclusion and competency programs, as well as corporate public engagement on LGBTQ issues.

Citi is committed to creating a more inclusive workplace that respects and protects the rights of LGBTQ colleagues through policies and practices such as inclusive self-identification processes, insurance and employee benefits. We also continue to speak out and take stands on key issues that promote the civil rights of the LGBTQ community. These efforts were critical to Citi's achieving HRC's highest score of a 100 percent ranking and the distinction as a "Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality".

We are honored to be included on the Corporate Equality Index among leading companies that promote and maintain equality in the workplace and in the communities where we live and work.
