Chris is Head of Trade and Working Capital Solutions within Citi Services. Based in London, Chris supports clients with their daily commercial activities of buying and selling goods, both domestically and across borders. As the leading Trade Finance Bank, Citi offers a unique set of trade and supply chain finance solutions, across Core Trade, Supply Chain Finance, Trade Loans and Export Agency Finance to global multinationals and institutional clients.
Before his current role, Chris was Citi’s Global Head of Data, Digitalization and Strategic Projects for Securities Services and the EMEA head of the Securities Services portfolio. Around a third of Chris’ career has been spent overseas across the Citi network, including Japan, Singapore and Australia, where he ran Citi’s Australia and New Zealand Markets business between 2008 and 2014.
With over 30 years of industry experience in Markets and Securities Services, he has a track record of growth, transformation and innovation. Chris started his career at Salomon Brothers Investment Banking division in 1991, with his product experience spanning to debt capital markets and structuring.
Chris holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (Dainton) from Imperial College.
