SWIFT Country Migration Schedule

To help meet the December 2004 migration timeline, SWIFT has established a country-by-country migration schedule. Working closely with the appropriate User Group Chairpersons, SWIFT has defined migration windows with exact dates for each country to help streamline migration to SWIFTNet™ FIN in each of their more than 200 participating markets.

During each migration window, users in that country will be expected to send the minimum test and training traffic over their IP connections. Market infrastructures, multinational banks and central institutions with more complex requirements will receive additional assistance in planning and defining the most appropriate configuration and connectivity solutions.

Citigroup is following this migration schedule in markets where migration activities have already begun, and will continue doing so as it moves forward.
