Smith Barney Joins Citi's ThankYou Network Rewards Program
 
New York, NY – Smith Barney today announced that it joined Citi's ThankYou Network rewards program as a sponsor, allowing Smith Barney clients to earn ThankYou Points for using products and services available from Smith Barney. Smith Barney joins Citi Cards, Citibank and Expedia.com as sponsors of ThankYou Network, which now includes more than 11 million members.
 
Initially, Smith Barney will offer the no-fee rewards program to its clients with a Financial Management Account (FMA). Clients will receive one ThankYou Point per dollar spent on purchases made with their FMA Card linked to the FMA Account, with no limit on the points clients can earn and no expiration date.
 
As part of ThankYou Network, FMA cardmembers can uniquely pool points from multiple activities with other sponsors into one Member Account to redeem for rewards faster including using participating Citi credit cards, for banking with Citibank with an eligible checking account, or booking eligible travel on Expedia.com. ThankYou Network also offers members an additional one to ten points for every dollar spent shopping online with hundreds of leading retailers, e-tailers and cataloguers through www.ThankYou.com.

The Smith Barney FMA Card provides clients with worldwide access to their funds via ATMs and for purchases anywhere MasterCard is accepted. Purchases made with the card are deducted at the end of the month from the FMA Account, so clients can continue to earn interest for up to 30 additional days.
 
ThankYou Network replaces the Smith Barney Travel and Rewards Program. All unused points earned with the FMA Card were automatically transferred to the cardmembers' new ThankYou Member Accounts.
 
ThankYou Network provides members tremendous choice in redeeming their points for rewards -- including luxury rewards, jewelry, golf lessons, the latest electronic equipment, high-value gift cards, and flights on any airline with no limited seat availability and no blackout dates.
