Diversity
| In addition to upholding company-wide policies, our regional and local diversity councils organised a range of professional development, networking, mentoring and coaching activities in 2007, including: |
A Diversity Forum featuring four leading female business executives hosted by Citi Thailand, broadcast to other Citi offices in the region and attended by 90 Citi Thailand staff. |
Citi Australia's continued sponsorship of the Women in Finance Mentoring Programme involving 25 mentoring partnerships with the participation of seven Citi mentors and eight Citi mentees. |
Citi Singapore Diversity Council initiatives reaching an estimated 730 employees, including a 'Women and Negotiation' workshop, a 'Power Panel' by the Financial Women's Association of Singapore, and a lunch talk by an inspiring female lawyer and human rights activist. |

Citi Korea Diversity Council's diversity survey, total employee participation in RAW (Respect at Work) online training, diversity awareness training during staff orientations, mentoring programme, and lecture series with high-profile women, such as the winners of the Citi-YWCA Korea Women's Leadership Awards. |
| Our first regional women's leadership programme, 'Coaching for Success', was launched to provide career development support for high-potential female employees at Vice President and Senior Vice President levels. Each of the 22 participants had a designated coach, a more senior woman in the firm, for the duration of the six-month programme. |
| Citi Asia Pacific also ran its third senior women's mentoring programme. To date, senior business leaders have mentored 122 Director-level women, and 11% of the mentees have been promoted. |

| At Citi Korea, every Wednesday is 'Family Day' which means that all employees are actively encouraged to leave the office earlier to spend quality time with their families or friends. Myung-Sook Lee from the CitiPhone team, said, "Getting home earlier means we can now enjoy a family meal together, and my children really look forward to Wednesdays." |

| Voice of the Employee |
Our annual Voice of the Employee (VOE) survey is a primary mechanism for employee feedback and to assess trends in the work environment and in management practices. The VOE is conducted anonymously and translated into different languages, including Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese.

| In 2007, the Asia Pacific participation rate was 97% and the results indicated overall employee satisfaction of 74.5% compared to 70.5% in the previous year. |
