To address this gap, Citi Guam has actively supported Teach Children To Save Day www.aba.com/abaef/teachchildrentosave since it was launched in 2002 by the ABAEF. Every April, Citi Guam employee volunteers take part in this national initiative to teach children the importance of saving, self-discipline, and wise spending habits.

| At Captain Henry B. Price Elementary School, for example, Citi volunteers taught 19 classes over two days reaching close to 450 students. The school's principal, Lisa Marie D. Santos, was so supportive that she approved not only the third grade classes, but also the fourth and fifth grade classes to devote 45 minutes of class time to learning from the Citi volunteers. |
